This new build located on the edge of Portumna town backing onto agricultural land was completed in 2014 achieving a BER rating of A2.
The build shows local builder Declan Martin’s dedication and passive house levels of air tightness (0.5ACH ) were recorded during the blower door air tightness test.
Our design for the house provides a generous open plan living space to the rear that takes full advantage of the southern aspect to the side. This layout and the use of tall windows, tall ceilings and roof lights make the living spaces exceptionally spacious and bright with great connectivity to the garden.
Internal features such as; a split level, a feature fire place and the kitchen inlet are then used to clearly separate the various functions with the open plan space creating a comfortable and relaxing living space.
